Traverse City is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Traverse City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I was NOT paying attention and came into this store today, 7/8/26, not realizing it was right before closing time. I DO NOT like to do that, cause I know when it's quittin' time, you're ready to shut down and go home. The person running the store treated us like royalty, was sweet and patient. Said they were new, even, but they've got their customer service game ON POINT! I bought a cool pin for my purse and will come again. You have unique items and sweet staff.

While this is a cute shop, it’s more of a novelty shop than it is a plant shop (slightly different than my first visit a couple of years ago, so it seems they have revamped). Still a nice place to check out, just don’t go with plant shop expectations.

Absolutely lovely shop. So many handmade items that are beautiful. I was looking for something specific and found it. The woman who cashed me out was incredibly friendly, and threw in a tiny 3D printed figure for free after I showed her pictures of my art. Will definitely be back whenever I’m in town again.

Where do I start! Fell in luv with this store the minute I walked in. They have a large variety of VERY HEALTHY unique plants. I couldn't leave with just one. The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful; they took the time to answer the many questions I had about some of the plants I have at home. I will definitely be stopping in again the next time I'm in TC to bring home some more of these beauties!

This shop is what dreams are made of! I'm from the Tri-City area where rare/uncommon plant selection is extremely limited. And when you find a shop that has uncommon plants, they are always overpriced. This beautiful shop in Traverse City had everything I could have ever imagined. She was very fairly priced as well. Now, I will no longer shop elsewhere. I'm Planty And Fancy is the only place for me! I purchased a Philodendron Plowmanii that was massive and has already out out 2 new leaves within the first two months the of me having it. The Philodendron Glorious I got (for very fair price) has put out 3 new leaves in only 2 months and is growing faster than the one I've had 4 months longer. The employees as well as the owner are very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel I've made a mistake being referred to this shop, as now I have the urge to make a trip there every weekend! Definitely a must visit place if you have limited plant selection in your area. Or even just looking for a physical shop to find your dream plants at (very) reasonable prices. Go! Go now! Before I take everything! Also, my Anthurium Forgetti has out out 2 new flowers and 2 new leaves in only 2 months. Ok, now im
